These 5 sessions - 90 mins each - course aims to inspire and equip program teams to cultivate the holistic development of their teachers. Through action research and collaborative learning, we will jointly generate innovative approaches to strengthen our training programs. 

The objective is to transform education and empower our students holistically, grounded in evidence, in response to the key question: How do we train and support teachers as transformational leaders so that they develop students holistically?

This opportunity is team-application based (not individual) and its open to teams that are engaged in teacher training and support. Before submitting your application, please speak with your manager/supervisor.*

This opportunity will be held in English. If you need live interpretation of the experience and/or translation of materials in additional languages to support your engagement, please indicate this via the registration/application form. We welcome all requests and will work to provide appropriate language support measures. However, please understand that we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

Calling all teachers, alumni, partner network staff, and girls' advocates to join our learning series on September 16th to explore the critical role of boys in achieving true gender equality and understand why engaging them matters deeply for girls' advancement. Accelerate your leadership and drive educational equity across Europe. The Teach For All Europe Alumni Leadership Fellowship brings together an extraordinary cohort of roughly 30 emerging alumni leaders from across the continent for a transformative 8-month development journey. Designed for diverse professionals navigating key career transitions and dedicated to long-term systemic impact, this experiential program blends virtual sessions with immersive, in-person European site visits. As fellows, they will sharpen their inner leadership capacities, learn from other contexts, and build deep, lasting connections with a powerful network of regional changemakers.

Program Dates: October 2026 – May 2027 (including 2 in-person gatherings, at the beginning and end of the program, and bi-weekly 1.5-hour calls in-between)

Eligibility: All alumni of a Teach For All network partner in Europe who have completed their two-year teaching fellowship (ideally 3+ years post-fellowship).

The Fellowship aims to support alumni participants to:

• Accelerate their personal leadership on their path to becoming influential leaders at home and across Europe
• Reinvigorate their sense of purpose and possibility by witnessing authentic and inspiring examples of transformation that are reshaping best practices across the continent
• Build authentic relationships and foster deeper connectivity through a shared learning journey and regional exchanges with fellow alumni across Europe

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Global Institute Fellowship for Transforming Systems (GIFTS), in partnership with the Enlight Foundation. The fellowship will bring together a cohort of 20 outstanding and influential education systems leaders worldwide for a nine-month immersive and action-driven program of global learning. The fellowship is designed to connect, inspire and develop the next generation of education system leaders who are striving to turn visionary ideas about holistic education, youth leadership and equity into equitable, lasting transformation for children at scale.

We are actively recruiting our first cohort of fellows, with applications closing on Friday 4 September 2026 and invite applications from currently serving policymakers, government officials, politicians and advisors in influential roles in ministries, regional offices and delivery units, with influence over the learning and development of significant numbers of young people at a regional or national level. Fellows will be visionary, future-facing leaders who are committed to a holistic purpose of education for all children and excited about global learning and community.

The GIFTS fellowship is the flagship initiative of the Global Institute for Shaping a Better Future, which exists to inspire, inform and connect a global movement of teachers, school leaders, social innovators, researchers and policymakers through global learning, sharing and evidence-generation around the question of how we can grow all students holistically so they can shape a better future.

The fellowship aims to centre that question in a nine-month cohort-based learning experience for some of the world’s most dynamic and enterprising education system leaders, with the aim of:

1. Creating a challenging, supportive and fast-paced culture of learning among fellows around their most pressing questions and current challenges of practice.
2. Strengthening the ability of fellows to drive transformative systems change at a national or local level by providing access to world class learning experiences and world-renowned leaders.
3. Building a lifelong peer community of fellows, each of whom is working at the forefront of efforts to transform education in the national or regional context.
4. Generating new knowledge and insight to be shared with a wider global community of governments and multilaterals about the most effective drivers of system transformation.
