Reimagining STEAM Education: Bridging the Inclusion Gap for Every Learner.
March 26, 2026
Estimated time commitment: 60 minutes
Too many students miss out on STEAM learning because they don't have access to certain materials, learn in different ways, or attend schools with limited resources. When classrooms rely heavily on specific equipment or one teaching approach, some students get left behind. This session offers a different path.
Sonja Macher will share how Universal Design for Learning, creative accessible solutions, and thoughtful classroom practices fosters students’ sense of belonging in STEAM spaces. Drawing from her work with neurodiverse students, learners with physical disabilities, and students in under-resourced communities, Sonja has seen students who once held back now lead their own projects and see themselves as problem-solvers and creators. Participants will leave with practical strategies ready to use, and a renewed commitment to reaching every learner.
Join the call on March 26 at 2:00 p.m. GMT. This Joint session will be facilitated by Inclusive Education & Global STEAM Education Community. This learning opportunity will be available in English, with Spanish and Arabic interpretation.

Designing a Compelling Climate Education Session/Module for Fellow Educators
March 26, 2026 11:00 AM - UTC
Estimated time commitment: 60 minutes
This community call is designed as a best-practice learning session for climate education leaders designing trainings, workshops, or modules for fellow educators. Often, fellows/alumni find themselves as ‘sole pioneers’ in their schools and communities. They are the first to introduce climate education and leadership. While this role can be inspiring, it can also feel isolating. This session will explore how we can move from being individual pioneers to building collective leadership by designing learning experiences that invite, engage, and empower our colleagues. We will learn from fellows and alumni in our network who have designed sessions and modules that successfully bring other educators into climate education, and reflect on strategies we can adapt in our own contexts.
This call will take place on March 26th, 2026 at 2:00pm GMT and will be held in English. If you need live interpretation of the experience and/or translation of materials in additional languages to support your engagement, please indicate this via the registration/application form. We welcome all requests and will work to provide appropriate language support measures. However, please understand that we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

AI won't replace teachers. But it will radically expand what a teacher can create, design, and achieve.
Join us as we explore Reed's AI AAA:
Aspirations: What becomes possible when technology amplifies human creativity worldwide
Ambitions: Scaling creative capacity across systems while maintaining what makes teaching fundamentally a personal, contextual, human experience
