The Climate Education and Leadership Champions learning series targets any network partner staff, fellows, and alumni who are already knowledgeable and engaged with climate education in their context, and who look to strengthen their capacity and skills for being climate education leaders. It is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and inspiration to empower others to realize and build their own agency and leadership for climate education/action. The series aims to build the first tier of leadership for infusing climate education throughout the education system. Participants are equipped to work with others in their respective countries to advance climate education at scale - for example, as teachers, school leaders, innovators, and policy-makers. The learning series consists of 10 online sessions (90 mins each), plus pre-work for each session, over a 4-month period.
The objectives for this learning series are to:
- Strengthen the capacity, skills, and inspiration of network partner staff, fellows, and alumni to become climate education leaders who can empower others to build their own agency and leadership for climate education/action.
- Equip participants to understand local and national climate education contexts and work with others in their respective countries to advance climate education at scale across different roles, including as teachers, school leaders, innovators, and policy-makers.
- Connect climate educators across our network to share insights, exchange best practices, collaborate across contexts, and learn from one another’s experiences in advancing climate education and leadership.

Join this course to explore system analysis theories and concrete tools based on the work of Donella Meadows (Thinking in Systems) and Ronald Heifetz (Adaptive Leadership). Participants will examine their own positions within their respective systems and learn how to collaborate with others to drive sustainable system change.

These 5 sessions - 90 mins each - course aims to inspire and equip program teams to cultivate the holistic development of their teachers. Through action research and collaborative learning, we will jointly generate innovative approaches to strengthen our training programs.
The objective is to transform education and empower our students holistically, grounded in evidence, in response to the key question: How do we train and support teachers as transformational leaders so that they develop students holistically?

Accelerate your leadership and drive educational equity across Europe. The Teach For All Europe Alumni Leadership Fellowship brings together an extraordinary cohort of roughly 30 emerging alumni leaders from across the continent for a transformative 8-month development journey. Designed for diverse professionals navigating key career transitions and dedicated to long-term systemic impact, this experiential program blends virtual sessions with immersive, in-person European site visits. As fellows, they will sharpen their inner leadership capacities, learn from other contexts, and build deep, lasting connections with a powerful network of regional changemakers.
Program Dates: October 2026 – May 2027 (including 2 in-person gatherings, at the beginning and end of the program, and bi-weekly 1.5-hour calls in-between)
Eligibility: All alumni of a Teach For All network partner in Europe who have completed their two-year teaching fellowship (ideally 3+ years post-fellowship).
The Fellowship aims to support alumni participants to:
- Accelerate their personal leadership on their path to becoming influential leaders at home and across Europe
- Reinvigorate their sense of purpose and possibility by witnessing authentic and inspiring examples of transformation that are reshaping best practices across the continent
- Build authentic relationships and foster deeper connectivity through a shared learning journey and regional exchanges with fellow alumni across Europe

Completing this course and earning the certificate is mandatory if you want to participate in the Global Girls Education Fellowship.
