Introduction to Coaching for Transformational Classrooms - 2027
Deadline
Nov 20
November 25, 2026 11:00 AM - UTC to July 30, 2027 10:00 AM - UTC
Estimated time commitment: 6 months
This introductory program is a practical learning experience designed to equip Teacher Coaches with core coaching mindsets and skills tailored to help their fellows achieve transformational outcomes for their own development and their classrooms. Through practice, evidence-based reflection and peer learning, Teacher Coaches will master the observation and debrief cycle—learning how to observe intentionally, facilitate powerful debrief conversations, and foster leadership growth in educators. The program emphasizes active listening, asking powerful questions, and driving personal and professional development. By acquiring these essential competencies, Teacher Coaches will strengthen their ability to lead with empathy, clarity, and curiosity, helping teachers create dynamic, high-impact classrooms where every student thrives.
By the end of the fellowship, learners will be able to
- Explain the purpose and value of the Teacher Coach role.
- Apply core coaching skills to help coachee’s holistic development.
- Reflect on your coaching practice to identify ongoing development for growth areas.
This opportunity will be held in English, with interpretation and/or translation to Mandarin Chinese. If you need live interpretation of the experience and/or translation of materials in additional languages to support your engagement, please indicate this via the registration/application form. We welcome all requests and will work to provide appropriate language support measures. However, please understand that we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
*This opportunity is application-based. Before submitting your application please ensure your Teach for All network partner organization (participants and alumni) or manager (partner staff) is aware of your application*
Apply here by November 20th.
