Are you a STEM teacher looking to expand your impact beyond the classroom? Join the Global STEAM Community on Thursday, 30 April 2026, from 14:00 – 15:00 GMT for a global community session. Monica Burba, Director of Global Schools Development at Take Action Global, will share strategies for transitioning from classroom teaching to leading large-scale STEM initiatives and system-level change. This session is open to network teachers, alumni, partner staff, and external guests. Register here to attend.

Objectives:

  • Explore pathways for STEM educators to move from classroom impact to system-level leadership.
  • Understand the skills, mindsets, and strategies needed to lead scalable STEM initiatives effectively.
  • Identify key challenges in organizational growth, such as securing resources and maintaining student connections while scaling.
  • Gain inspiration from peer educators who have successfully scaled their expertise to impact broader communities and networks.

This opportunity will be held in English with interpretation and/or translation to Arabic and Spanish. If you need live interpretation of the experience and/or translation of materials in additional languages to support your engagement, please indicate this via the registration/application form.
