The Challenges of Scientific Research in Our MENA Schools: Can Teaching Research Be an Enjoyable and Effective Experience for Our Students?
May 13, 2025
Do you believe that teaching research skills in schools is a difficult or boring task?
In this interactive session, we shed light on the challenges facing the teaching of scientific research in schools across the MENA region, based on the real experiences of teachers and students. We ask:
How can we transform scientific research skills from a challenge into an inspiring and enjoyable journey?
During the session, we will share our experience in applying our booklet “Daleel: the Scientific Research Guide”, developed and implemented in Qatar with a sample of students, as a practical tool designed specifically to help teachers guide their students through the steps of the research process in a simplified, interactive, and relevant way for MENA classrooms.
We believe that instilling a research-oriented mindset in students from a young age is key to building a generation that is critical, aware, and proactive.
