What is the Global School Principals Community?
Teach For All’s Global Social Principals Community brings together alumni school leaders (SLs, Principals, and Vice Principals) from across the network to support their development through peer learning and school visits.
When was this community started?
The community was established in August 2024. They’ve met in-person twice in Pune, India (Aug 2024) and Santiago, Chile (July 2025).
How do community members learn from and support each other?
They learn through three ways:
- An active WhatsApp group for sharing wins/ learnings.
- Lightning talks via virtual Zoom calls (once or twice a quarter).
- 3-4 day in-person gatherings centred around visiting top-performing schools.
What is the criteria for joining?
Prospective members must meet specific criteria:
- Teach For All network alumni: You must be an alum of a Teach For All network partner organization.
- Active Senior Leadership: You must currently be a School Leader, Principal, or Vice-Principal of a school in your region/location.
- A Mission-Driven Focus: Your school must equitably serve vulnerable or underserved children in your region.

The meaningful connection based on trust and shared vision has contributed significantly to my leadership, which has an impact on the wider school, teachers, students, parents and community.
