Mary Ameh is a Teach For Nigeria alumna dedicated to sustainable agriculture, community engagement, and learning and development programs. Passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals, she drives systemic change and equitable access to quality education.

As the founder of the STEM Garden Initiative, Mary has impacted over 3,500 school children, 100 STEM teachers, and 150 women in underserved Nigerian communities. This initiative promotes STEM education and addresses food insecurity challenges. A certified global climate educator, Mary believes in the transformative power of collective leadership and mentorship.

Her impactful projects have earned her several local and global recognitions, including the Teach For Nigeria Most Outstanding "Be the Change" award in 2024, out of 200 fellows. She has volunteered with the Teach For All Social media content creators Initiatives, Teach For All Global STEAM Leadership Committee and the Pan Africa Climate Educators Network (PACE) Leadership Committee. Mary brings a unique blend of leadership experiences, youth engagement, and community development expertise to the Africa Leadership Committee Team.
