Abhilasha Iyer

"Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all." I deeply believe in this philosophy by Aristotle, which continues to shape my professional journey as an educator. Hello, I am Abhilasha, a Teach For India Fellow and Staff Alumna, with 7 years of experience in the education and childcare sector. 

Right from my Fellowship, I have explored and co-created multiple opportunities to facilitate and foster social emotional learning for and with children, some of which including leading TFI's student leadership documentation project, designing SEL impact assessments for the Delhi government and leading the design of a first of its kind curriculum and training program for children's homes, and children in need of care and protection at Guardians of Dreams, in Bangalore. 

I am grateful and excited to be a Network Connector and share more about my areas of expertise in Social Emotional Learning, Instructional Design Learning Experience Design, Student Leadership. I love connecting people with shared interests and common passions for greater social good, and matching human talent to the social sector needs.
