What is the AI Literacy and Creator Collective (AI LCC)?
The AI Literacy and Creator Collective (AI LCC) is the flagship program of Teach For All's AI & Educational Technology Initiative, serving 1,750+ educators and growing across 60+ countries.
Comprised of fellows, alumni, and staff, members collaborate via WhatsApp to explore how AI can shift education from dependency to agency. Through the AI AAA Series, Education+Entrepreneurship program, live learning sessions, and hands-on experimentation, the community tests frontier AI tools and develops classroom innovations.
The AI LCC creates strategic partnerships with companies and organizations involved in producing or implementing AI models in education, building collective expertise that informs both local practice and global AI development.
When was this community started?
The community was formally launched in 2025 to test frontier AI tools and develop classroom innovations.
How do community members learn from and support each other?
- Members connect through WhatsApp channels for daily knowledge sharing.
- Monthly Zoom sessions featuring frontier AI company leaders.
- AI AAA Series with speakers like Reed Hastings, Co-Founder and Chairman of Netflix.
- Regional cohorts meet virtually for collaborative experimentation.
- Annual gatherings occur at ASU+GSV Summit and regional Teach For All convenings.

What is the criteria for joining?
Prospective members must meet specific criteria:
- Membership is open year-round to Teach For All fellows, alumni, and staff across the 60+ country network.
- No prior AI experience required. However, priority is given to educators willing to pilot AI tools and share implementation feedback.
- Members must commit to active participation in WhatsApp channels, attend at least one live learning session per quarter, and contribute classroom innovations or insights to the collective knowledge base.
- Regional language fluency (English, Spanish, French, Arabic, or Portuguese) enables access to specialized cohorts.
- For Teach For All network members (fellows, alumni, and staff), the onboarding process includes community guidelines orientation and WhatsApp channel assignment based on regional cohort and language preference.

Just got the chance to read what we have been able to achieve, and I am so proud of each one of us... the amazing things we’ve woven into education as changemakers, leaders, educators, etc... we are the change the world needs.
