Sochetra is an alumna of Teach For Cambodia from cohort 2020 with a Master's Degree of education in Curriculum and Instruction, and Bachelor's Degree in Teaching English.
He has taught English, debate, and public speaking to students for many years ranging from primary to university levels at public and private institutions. His previous job was a Program Officer of education in Bangladesh under the Norwegian Agency For Exchange Cooperation (NOREC) to develop the teachers’ skills and school development there. Currently, he is a project-based mentor at public schools in Cambodia, working on modern pedagogies and school developments. He loves to exchange ideas on global issues to find solutions together.
He centers on constantly bettering his personal and professional growth through lifelong learning, and helping young scholars to enhance their life. Within this Network Connector, he hopes to learn and connect with others to improve students’ lives and solve global issues.
