Reem Bou Shaheen

I am an experienced humanitarian professional with over a decade of expertise managing education and psychosocial support programs in complex and challenging environments. Since 2019, my work has been deeply rooted in Syria, where I have frequently traveled to lead initiatives that promote equitable access to education and psychosocial well-being for vulnerable populations. Currently, I serve as the Regional Program Manager at Catholic Relief Services, overseeing the design, implementation, and evaluation of impactful projects across Lebanon and Syria.

My passion for fostering meaningful partnerships and capacity-building has enabled me to work closely with local and international stakeholders, ensuring sustainable and inclusive solutions. Outside work, I am an advocate for lifelong learning and enjoy exploring innovative approaches to humanitarian challenges.
