Patrick Mohamed Kamara is a Senior Program Officer and Program Lead for Livelihood at The Energy Nexus Network (TENN) in Sierra Leone, where he works on advancing renewable energy access and sustainable livelihood initiatives in underserved communities. With a background in Energy Studies from Njala University.
Patrick has experience in implementing decentralized energy solutions, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and promoting climate-resilient development across rural and coastal communities. His work focuses on linking clean energy technologies with productive uses such as fisheries, agriculture, and small businesses to improve local economies and enhance energy access.
Patrick is also passionate about research and innovation in sustainable development, particularly exploring solutions like converting organic waste into renewable energy. As part of the Teach For All Global Network, Patrick is motivated by the opportunity to collaborate with global change makers committed to expanding educational and economic opportunities. He enjoys engaging with communities, mentoring young people, and contributing to initiatives that drive inclusive and sustainable development.
