Milan Kumar Sardar Tharu

Milan is an MBA Nonprofit graduate from King’s College and also holds a Master’s degree in Social Work. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration. He is an aspiring social entrepreneur and has co-founded various startups with the vision of community empowerment and capacity building. He is a Teach for Nepal Alumnus, European Forum Alpbach scholar 2020 & 2021, UPG Sustainability Leader 2021, Teach For All Global Girls Education Fellow 2017-18, Teach For All Leading from Lived Experiences Fellow 2019, and Ambassador & Advisory Board Member for HundrEd.org.

He has been involved in various consulting projects for different organizations and institutions. He is currently leading an NGO, Himalayan Development Initiative which is committed to providing quality education to the children of Upper Dolpa as its Executive Director and a family foundation called Amaalya SK Foundation as its Director of Programs.
