Jerome Bactol

Jerome is the Country Program Manager of Girl Rising in the Philippines, an organization working to change the way the world values and invests in girls through storytelling. A teacher by profession, Jerome believes that every boys and girls deserve quality and relevant education to reach their full potential. After finishing his Bachelors degree in Community Development from the University of the Philippines Diliman, he joined the inaugural cohort of Teach for the Philippines and spent his two years as a public school teacher in Quezon City. He is a candidate for Master in Community Development and working on his thesis on loitering children. Areas of interest: Community development, Youth and Life Skills Education, Program Management.
